Teaching

I'm passionate about teaching at all stages of science education. I think it's particularly important to get undergraduate students interested in plant breeding and quantitative genetics, in order to recruit the next generation of scientists to the meet the goal of doubling staple crop production by 2050.

I also work with graduate students at the West Africa Center for Crop Improvement (in Accra, Ghana), teaching the use of molecular DNA techniques in Plant Breeding and leading computational bioinformatics tutorials. Contact me for more information on graduate student modules.
